From Wulingyuan, take a bus to Wulingyuan Bus Station first, then transfer to a shuttle heading to Zhangjiajie downtown (buses every 10 minutes, 1-hour journey, 20 RMB fare). Upon arrival in downtown, take the Maoyan River Drifting shuttle at the entrance of Xianglong International Hotel (operates during peak seasons, 1-hour drive). Alternatively, take a taxi directly—about 45 km, fare 150–200 RMB, 1-hour drive. Recommend checking shuttle schedules in advance and allowing sufficient travel time.
