Are there free local town guides in Kunming & Shangri-La?
I believe due to the high altitude we will need medication for altitude dizziness?

There are no universally free town guides in Kunming, while some scenic areas in Shangri-La offer volunteer guides. Shangri-La has a high altitude (about 3,459 meters) – bring your own altitude sickness medication (e.g., Hongjingtian), acclimatize gradually, and avoid strenuous activities.
